Contemporary Apartment.

A compact one-bedroom apartment in a pre-war building, kept light and generous by its original tall windows, cornices and herringbone parquet. Figured walnut joinery runs through every room, from the kitchen cabinets to the living room shelving and the panel behind the bed, paired with white tiles and aged brass. Colour does the rest: an ochre velvet banquette in the kitchen, an olive green sofa in the living room, a dusty blue wardrobe in the bedroom and a terracotta checkerboard floor in the bathroom.
